... reconnaissance UTEM surface survey leads to discovery
This case history highlights the integral role played by UTEM in the
discovery of a VMS deposit on the Kudz Ze Kayah property in the SE Yukon.
The initial discovery of the Kudz Ze Kayah deposit was made by Cominco
Ltd. in 1994. Followed in 1995 with the discovery of the Wolverine deposit
by Westmin and Atna, these discoveries led to the largest staking rush
in the Yukon history.
