UTEM 3

Lamontagne's UTEM 3 surveying system employs a UTEM 3 transmitter and receiver, and either a UTEM 3 borehole probe or a UTEM 3 surface coil to carry out surveys. The UTEM 3 system is versatile and reliable, and was in fact the first UTEM measurement tool to take axial readings in a borehole. It has the capability to take high sensitivity and low-noise readings, while taking advantage of continuous measurement during the entire waveform. This allows it to detect and characterize conductors that other systems might miss.

For many applications the UTEM 3 system has been superceded by UTEM5.
